As I was doing my Dance and Tone workout this morning, it made me think how thankful I am for both of you. I am thankful for your encouragement in keeping my fitness going, for providing the means for me to be able to take our Zumba classes with me where ever I go, and for fostering a fun environment for exercising!

I’ve been doing the Dance4Fitness Personal Training Program for over 5 years with coaches Leslie and Cindy. In those 5 years, I seldom miss doing the routine at least 3 times a week. I believe that this program has been the key ingredient in protecting my health and keeping me off cholesterol and high blood pressure medicines, as well as, helping me to maintain a pain-free body. In my 60’s, I am able to do any type of activity with ease, including occasional strenuous yard work or extraordinary endurance events like walking 10 miles every day on vacation. COVID brought many changes including moving the PT to a on-line ZOOM program. Leslie and Cindy worked hard to keep their clients healthy during that difficult time. I found that I really enjoyed working out in my home and avoiding the commute back and forth to the studio. In addition, I can easily follow the routine when I am out of town because of ZOOM. Leslie and Cindy keep the class engaged and provide live modifications of the exercises for anyone who may need them. At the end of class, we chat about our experience, accommodations and accomplishments. It always surprises me how they manage to change the routine each week and still cover all the relevant muscle groups and cardio training. They make exercise something to look forward to rather than avoid. The weekly live Zoom class followed by the recording provides the needed discipline to maintain a frequent and varied exercise routine. Through this program, Leslie and Cindy have become much more that my coaches but also my cherished friends. The group of women that exercise together, as well as those who participate in the Dance & Tone classes (which included cardio and strength training) are really special and have become an awesome support and friend group. Leslie and Cindy find a way to connect with all of their clients and seem to know when to provided the needed touch. A good fitness profile (especially as we age) requires routine cardio vascular, strength, flexibility and balance training. Leslie and Cindy do an excellent job of providing this but their support, caring and kindness tops off the recipe for overall positive health and happiness.
